Spirit of Leuser is a Mixed Reality experience that allows users to discover the endangered species of the Leuser ecosystem. It is part of the Spirit of Sumatra exhibition, created by ALAN for Airside Mall in Hong Kong.
The experience aims to discourage tourists from seeking out real animals in their natural habitats. It allows them to discover and engage with these creatures in a virtual environment that closely replicates their real-world ecosystems. I've also infused my personal touch of fantasy, aiming to unveil the unseen world of the forest—a mystical dimension inspired by the tales and traditions of the local communities, which also reflects in the particular design of the animals.
